Georgia Sporting Clays Association is looking for a few good Men and Women!
Serving
on the GSCA Board of Directors is your opportunity to influence the direction
and future of GSCA and sporting clays in Georgia. It is your opportunity to
leave your mark on the sport. It is an opportunity to give back to the sport we
have so enjoyed. It is also a distinct honor to serve the shooters of Georgia.
To
serve on the Board, a candidate must be a member in good standing of GSCA and
NSCA, and must have been a resident of Georgia for at least one (1) year.
You
do not have to be a World Class shooter to serve on the Board. In fact, the last
two presidents have been not very good E Class shooters who just loved the
sport.
A
Board member must be able to attend scheduled quarterly Board meetings and make
a reasonable time commitment to GSCA business. There is no set time commitment
or even an estimate of how much time a particular Board position requires. To
the greatest extent, it is a matter of how much time you are willing to devote
and how efficiently you can handle various tasks.
Board
position descriptions are attached.
